Our Programmes
What We Do
From smart classrooms to clean water, from digital skills to healthy habits — we work at the grassroots to give every child in India the foundation they deserve.
Transforming Communities, One School at a Time
Nayi India Foundation operates across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, partnering with government schools and local communities to create Model Smart Schools. Our integrated approach addresses education, digital inclusion, health, and livelihoods — because lasting change requires tackling every barrier a child faces.
Programme 01
Digital Education & Smart Classrooms
We equip government schools with computers, projectors, and interactive learning tools — transforming bare classrooms into engaging digital learning environments.
Our smart classroom initiative installs computer labs, digital projectors, and curated educational software in government schools. Trained teachers deliver structured computer literacy lessons alongside the regular curriculum, ensuring students gain 21st-century skills alongside foundational academics. We also run after-school digital clubs where students explore coding, design, and online research.

Programme 02
WASH — Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
Clean water, functional toilets, and handwashing stations are not luxuries — they are the foundation of a safe learning environment. We build and maintain WASH infrastructure in schools.
Many government schools lack basic sanitation. Our WASH programme constructs and rehabilitates toilets, installs handwashing stations, and ensures safe drinking water access. We pair infrastructure with hygiene education sessions for students and parents, building lasting behaviour change around handwashing, menstrual hygiene, and safe water handling.

Programme 03
Child Health & Nutrition
Healthy children learn better. We run school health camps, nutrition awareness sessions, and connect families to government health entitlements.
Our health programme conducts regular health check-up camps in partner schools, screening children for vision, dental, and nutritional issues. We work with ANMs and ASHAs to ensure identified children receive follow-up care. Nutrition education sessions for mothers and school cooks improve mid-day meal quality and household dietary practices.

Women's Livelihoods & Skilling
When mothers thrive, children thrive. We run vocational training and self-help group programmes for women in our programme communities.
Our livelihoods programme trains women in tailoring, food processing, and handicrafts through structured skill development courses. We facilitate formation and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), link members to bank credit, and provide market linkage support. Financially empowered mothers invest more in their children's education and health.

Our Approach
We believe in community ownership, government partnership, and evidence-based programming.
Community-Led
Every programme begins with listening. We co-design solutions with communities, ensuring local ownership and sustainability beyond our involvement.
Government Partnership
We work within and alongside government systems — strengthening what exists rather than creating parallel structures.
Integrated Model
Education, health, WASH, and livelihoods are addressed together because poverty is multi-dimensional and solutions must be too.
Data-Driven
We track outcomes rigorously, publish results transparently, and continuously improve based on evidence from the field.
